Flex Disk Coupling Question 700 1985

I replaced mine with one from FCP and was a perfect fit. Not sure, as it was several months ago but I thought it had sleeves in the bolt holes to limit the torque?

Just checked my Haynes and yes, it has torque limiters. It can installed incorrectly, the drive (trans) set of bolts need to be ahead of the driven (shaft)set in the direction of rotation on the thick part of the disc otherwise the torque is absorbed in the thin flex section.

Or the triangle piece is on the wrong set of bolts.

I had major vibrations from these two errors.

I'm betting you already have this figured out!
