MAIN FUEL PUMP INTERCHANGABILITY 200 1986

This is the wayFCP Groton breaks down the various pumps:

0580254996 New Fuel Pump 75-79 (Main Pump) $239.67 Bosch
0580254949 New Fuel Pump 80-82 w/ CIS Injection (Main Pump) and all 81-85 Turbo's $125.00 Bosch
0580464022 New Fuel Pump 1982 w/ LH Injection $145.00 Bosch
0580464068 New Fuel Pump 83-93 (Main Pump) except 81-85 Turbo's $125.00 Bosch

So if nothing else, it's a different part number. I don't think the
earlier pumps make as high a pressure as the LH pumps. Is the in-tank pump fixed now? If so it should quiet the main pump significantly.
