MAIN FUEL PUMP INTERCHANGABILITY 200 1986

My in-tank is indeed now fixed, but the main pump is still loud. It gets louder on hot days after I have driven it for a while. But $125 is not bad for a new pump. I was thinking that it cost $150 for a rebuilt pump and $300 for a new Bosch pump, so I'll have to give FCP Groton a call and get a new one. Thanks for the help. Slowly but surely I am getting my '86 whipped into shape. Next things on the list are rear suspension bushings and engine harness. Tackled timing belt (first time) this weekend. Did in-tank last weekend. Ultimate goal - bulletproof brick! The body is good (car never has been wrecked), the interior is in good shape (a little cracking on the driver's seat and typical dashboard cracking are the only detractants to the interior), and it is a wagon with the third seat. I hope my luck holds out - I bought the car for $1,400, have spent about another $300 on it so far along with parts off of my two junkers.

Thanks,
Lance
