What's the pre-pump setup comprise? 140-160 1974

Just a note of caution. If the 74 fuel tank is same or similar to the one in my 72, there will be two screw plugs on the bottom side of the tank. Remove the small screw plug and drain the fuel into a container. Then remove the larger screw plug and, if all goes well, you will be looking at a small cylindrical filter which can be gently pulled off the pickup tube. I used some teflon tape on the threads when refitting the plugs. Of course you want to do this only when there is very little fuel in the tank.
