As soon as I lifted the hood this afternoon I found the errant hose, still with the label on it...I had tucked it out of the way when I put the intake manifold back on and just missed it. Boy do I feel stupid ;-)

Many thanks to those who responded with help and advice. Once again the BB comes through.
