Ignition coil resistance 200 1987

Normally resistances within 20% of the stated value will work OK.
That is why resistors are sold with a +/-20% tolerance and you pay more
for closer tolerances. For example the +/- 5% resistors have a gold band
around them. The main reason to check the resistance of the coil is to
determine if the winding is open (infinite resistance) or shorted (much lower
resistance). I think you need to look elsewhere for your problem, like
maybe the connectors between the distributor and the module, etc.

I would NOT replace a coil for that reason. Coils are pretty durable unless
you burn 'em up. No moving parts, etc. (unless you count rushing electrons)
