Changing of starter causes pinging!? 200 1986

I changed the starter on my 240 dl 1986 last Sunday . I noticed afterwards a pinging coming from the engine during even the slightest acceleration. I took out the old and put in the new starter from above the engine compartment and not from underneath . Could I have diturbed a connection to a sensor or some vacumm hose and if so which one.

Where eactly is the anti-knock sensor and how do I make sure that it works.
