Anyone know what holds the front bumper shocks in on a 760 wagon? I have had some replies(thanks!) but need a better answer 700

My bumper was ripped off as most of you know by now 1989 760 T Wagon. I ordered 2 new shocks. What I can't figure out is how the shocks secure into the tubes? There are 2 bolts outside the tubes with a welded nut. These do not appear to secure the shock in any way as the shock slides in past these with no resistance..the appear to support just the tube the shock goes into. All I can see so far is that the bumbper cover holds the bumper and shocks on and the shocks just rest in the tube. Is that it?

IS there a bolt that goes in and through the tube somehow? If there is, I do not see any hole in the tube the shock enters to support some peoples theory that there is a bolt for the shochs under the hood on this model. I appreciate those who have replied to my earlier posts but I really need a concise answer.

Thanks!
