134A Conversion/Electric Fan 200

My local Volvo dealership indicated that I should change the oil in the compressor, replace the drier, O-rings, and replace the expansion valve with one for 134A. He said the conversion will work ok. Do I need to do anythinge else? This is on my daughter's car that will be 2000 miles away soon so what ever I do will need to be easy for the next person who works on the car. Has anyone done all of this and then added an electric fan so it will work better at slow speeds? Thanks for the help---
