Overdrives, relays & Solenoids Oh my part 2 200

Dear Brickheads,

Just wanted to thank everyone who gave me advice with my failed overdrive. I took it to the shop and replaced some really nasty tranny fluid (my fault it was kinda gross actually!). Which did help when the car got warmer, my OD would kick in. However as it turned out. My solenoid was just too damaged to kick in when the fluid was cooler.

My mechanic Steve at Drive For Life here in Las Vegas put in a working used solenoid and now I am back to OD heaven for $200 worth of 'rare' used parts and labor. Not bad.
