I'm looking for a solution to quieten up the 'new' '81 245 GLT non-turbo (canadian B23E, auto) I just picked up. Here's what leads up to my question: I've had the same car in a 2dr (same motor, but in a stick) in the past and they both produced about he same amount of in cabin noise. No odd or terrible noises, just general noise from the road/motor all together. Now, I've got an '84 244Ti and it's much quiter in the cabin. What did Volvo do in between these 3yrs to improve this? Is there something I can grab at the P&P? Dynamat from the audio shop?
