Found rattle problem, should I drive like this, what caused it to happen? 700 1986

Hello,
I got under the car today to change the oil and try to find the source of an annoying sound that I compare to the sound of a well used yo-yo whose ball bearing is getting loose and rattling around. Found source of problem.

If you were a miniature man standing in the engine compartment looking to the front of the car, you would see three bolts on the power steering pump. The one closest to the engine block is not working. When the engine is on, the bolt slowly rattles loose until it is slowly spinning in circles and prevented from falling out by a wire. I pushed it back in, but there was no resistance whatsoever. I removed it and it is completely stripped. Looks like it got squished or something. The nut was no longer on it. Yay, I got an excuse for a trip to the junk yard tomorrow!

Meanwhile, can/should I drive it like this with the bolt loose in there- or without a bolt at all? It does vibrate some. I had loosened the power steering pump to replace the timing belt 6 months ago. I don't think I needed to loosen that bolt because I think it's the pivot. Should I be concerned that whatever caused this bolt to strip will cause the next one I get to strip? All I should need is a bolt and nut? Is there a washer too? If so, where does it go (nut side or bolt head side)?
