Tailgate Lock Problem 900 1995

The cyl assembly can be taken out from the inside after prying off a sheetmetal U clip, it can then be taken apart without flying to pieces. Obvious. You may need to drive cyl out (in) with a wooden dowel. Cyl is a zinc material that grows white corrosion and jams the 5 or 6 wafer tumblers. Work them free with penetrating oil one by one. Did this on a 93. Don't lube with grease. I use "Break Free", an excellent product for many uses.
