Intermitent stalling and NO start - Ignition switch??? 200 1987

OK, OK I found the info at the FAQ section. In fact is your post. Thanks for the goooooood info and tips.

By the way I saw a post were you talked about the relay function in the ignition anf FI systems.

Since the ignition switch is a "trigger" for both systems. Will a bad switch cause intermitent stalling and no start problems?

You said: "On a Volvo, no spark means no fuel". Since I have no spark when my 240 stalls (that also means I have no fuel) (Thought: "But the starter cranks but also I don't have power to the windows"). And when I play with the switch all systems come alive. Doesn't these events rule out the FP relay as a cause of the problem and places guilt on the electric module of the switch? Just trying to understand my problem.

I'm going ahead with the relay re-soldering since it sure is a cheap insurance.
Thanks again, will wait for your thoughts.
