IPD Sway bars on wagon 200

I just got back from the junkyard on a sway bar upgrade mission for my 87 245 and scored a set of IPD bars. I am wondering if the 25mm/22mm set up is too much for a wagon without also going with lowering springs. Could I add some bracing to the front end to compensate for the super stiff rear sway bar? I'm also still on the stock steel rims if that's at all revevant.

Thanks for your help. Drive on...
