Timing belt blew... interference design? 200 1988

All,

The timming belt blew on my 88 240 this evening as I was pulling onto the highway outside of my subdivision.

I just bought the 240 about 2 months ago and didn't know the history. The mileage on the replacement sticker on the cover was blurry. Guess that was it's way of telling me it was awhile ago!

Anyways... Is this an interference design on 240's?

If not, I'm thinking about doing the job myself. I've done brakes jobs and basic tuneups before. Any good links to some info/tips?

Thanks,
/Yeepers
