wierd idle problem 200

Haven't found anything quite like this in past post som hopefully someone can help. When I start the car it idles around 1400rpm for the first 15sec or so then drops to 500rpm where it stays till the car is fully warmed up when it idles at 900rpm. So is there anything I should check, adjust, or replace to fix this. The car definately runs real rough till warm though if I give it a little extra gas first it doesn't stall. -Russ
