Volvo Brake Pads 700

Volvo has two types of pad available for the 1990 760 - a TX4005 and a "Long Life" variety. The TX4005 is the only one Volvo recommends for reducing "Brake Resonance", and is the one that's recommended after the upgrade to Jumbo brakes. Questions: 1. Is the TX4005 the one that's known for producing large amounts of brake dust? 2. After reading the StopTech article on brake material transference, is there a connection between soft pads and uneven brake pad material transference? 3. By comparison, do the aftermarket brake pads start at Volvo's "Long Life" material and get harder? Thanks!!
