What to check on 760 ? - possible purchase 700 1985

My son and I will be looking at a 1985 760. What specific things should we look for on this car? It has a four speed with OD, air, sunroof, and leather. It's white, and has 190K. What is the value range on this car if it's in really good shape? It's in Oregon if that makes any difference. The owner is asking $2000. Our family hasn't owned any 700 series yet, so any help would be appreciated.
