My Earl Scheib experience 700 1987

When I got my 87 745T painted two years ago it cost $2500. That included removing the roof rack and painting all the black trim including the bumpers. They removed everything that could be removed. They sanded down the hood and went over the whole car for any imperfections before the paint was applied. Two years later my ungaraged Volvo still looks outstanding. You got a $359.00 paint job. If you had gone anywhere and paid that amount of money you would have gotten a simular paint job. Materials ran $150 and the rest was labor so you got 8 hours of prep, painting, sanding, buffing. Most shops have close to 16 to 20 hours in prep time before the gun is ever filled.
