Can you mix a B23E head on a B230F block? B21FU? 200

Howdy,

Just checking about seeing what can be done between engine blocks.
Noticing the Canadian B23E head allows for a little more horsepower, but I was curious if I'd see that benefit mixing that head on a B230F engine.

Also, there has been mention of rare B21F type engines.
There is a California car sitting up in a barn not far from my cottage (Barrie, ON, Canada), 1975-6 244, that has an engine marked B21F/U. After much sitting, it still idles smooth, no black nor blue.

What the heck is that? I've never seen or heard anything about this.
