fuel injection 1800 1973

The injector to the #1 cylinder is not working. I checked it in another position that was working and it works there. The injector from the other cylinder didnt work in the #1 cylinder either. I understand that cylinder 3 injector gets an electrical pulse to activate the injector at the same time #1 get a pulse. I also understand the distributor pulses each set of two injectors and there is a switch in the distributor. I am curious if the wire to the #1 cylinder which is #26 goes to the computer or to the distributor. If it goes to the distributor then I probably need to trace the wires out to the distributor. I checked both wires to the injector and they each show a path to ground. I thought this was wrong but upon checking other injectors they also read the same. This seems odd to me. Can anyone give me some advice on how best to proceed. Does a complete wiring diagram exist so I can easily trace the wiring? Does anyone know which wire from the computer goes to the injectors? There are about 20 or 22 leaving the computer and none of them are #26.
