Protecting the black parts of my white 244 200 1992

Hello, all.

My 244 is white with charcoal interior. As a 1992 model, the black trim outside is a dominant feature. I plan to detail the car this weekend, and I was hoping to get some suggestions for healthy and effective protection for the tires, black plastic and rubber trim and the black interior. I am concerned that black metal that constitutes the side rearview mirrors, door posts, and rain gutters may require different treatment than rubber and plastic.

In the archives, it seems as though people recommend Black Again. Is this the most effective protectant out there? Will it work for all black parts? Is there special stuff to use for different materials? I've read that Armor all should be avoided - true?

A thousand thanks in advance.
