How do I get my stripped fill plug out of my M46? 700 1986

Now I've done it!

Now that I have drained the transmission fluid from my M46, I can't get the fill plug out. I didn't check to make sure that I could get it out because I had it out about 6 months ago, so I figured that it would come out easily. I had put in cheap ATF type F and was getting ready to put in AMSOIL. Well, now its stripped badly and I even hacked at it with vice grips. Is there a tool that is particularly good at gripping stripped bolts?

Otherwise I may have to try and fill from the drain - which will be a big pain!

Help!
Steve
