740 Turbo has no power 700

I have an 87 745 turbo I bought recently. It had a broken timing belt when I got it - and was running great up to the belt breaking (tensioner was froze solid). I had it towed back to my place. I changed the belt, tensioner, all drive belts and water pump. Runs absolutely great, however when in gear (its an auto btw) it has ZERO power. Idle power only. I noticed that when revving it in park, the boost guage never exceeds 12 o'clock. My 89 744T goes around to 3-4 o'clock. I checked the turbo - very little shaft play and it spins very free. The AMM is next, however, it idles wonderfully, just nothing in gear. Tranny is ok as well. To sum up how it acts: it acts just like the pedal isn't hooked up. No acceleration AT ALL, but the throttle does move when you step on the pedal.

Does it sound like something is plugged or stuck (CBV, etc.) - just wondered what would cause it to idle so nice, yet have NO power whatsoever? I can hear the fuel pumps running fine also. Like I said, it idles like a champ, just ZERO acceleration.

Thanks in advance.
