Any one using thule bike racks? Chris Herbst i know you have one. A few ??? 700 1992

Hello everyone.

I have had my rack for a couple of years. This past weekend i picked up a used bike rack which is fine but yesterday i bought a new fairing to installed to cut down on the wind noise. After about 2 hours of messing around i did finally get it on but one concern i have is the 3 brackets that connect to the fairng seem to be connected under the bars. The fairing looks like it should be on a more up/rake position. I was wondering if i could remove the middle clamp and reinstall with the clamp on th top? Also which way are the 3 brackets are to be installed? The longer side to the back of the fairing or the shorter side to the back of the fairing? Currently i have the longer side connected to the back of the fairing.

How was the clearance with the rack mounted forward with the sunroof in the vent position? My sunroof only vents right now.

Should i consider mounting the rack pass the sunroof. You know like in the middle of the roof or more towards the back?
My car is a 92 745t.

Thanks for everyone's input.

Hey Chris H.!,shoot me an email. Where do you ride?
