Thanks 700 1986

Thanks for all of the advise. I tried using MAPP gas and vice grips, as well as the craftsman bolt-out sockets and a pipe wrench. None worked in my hands. I realize that I am over my head and will take it to my trusty independent shop, which I love - Auto Logic in Carborro, NC. I hope that they will have better luck. I just wanted to thank you for your input. I will let you know how they do. I plan on putting cheap ATF in through the drain hole so that I can get it to them.

Would towing the car also be an option? Is it bad to move it at all without oil in the transmission?

Thanks again,
Steve
