Driver's door not closing properly - wind noise 700 1987

When the door wasn't aligned the latch would hit the striker when the door closed, making it harder than normal (slightly misaligned) or impossible (very misaligned) to make it latch. Just a wild guess, your problem sounds like it might also be caused by the door itself being warped, as if it got hit by something on the inside or someone tried to jimmy it open. Good luck--
