Driver's door not closing properly - wind noise 700 1987

In addition to what's been suggested, there is a low-tech fix-
try closing the door on a piece of 2X4 so it doesn't latch. The wood shouldn't stick up into the window frame area. Then push in at the top front and back of the window frame. This tightens the frame against the body in the upper door area. Works for 240s.... this is really the only way to tighten up such a gap.
