Having another 740 Turbo problem 700

I have gone to the FAQ's, and that's how I've done as much as I have to take care of the other problems that I've had. I've read everything that was there and I still have questions.
the kick inside is betting on a serious rip in an inlet hose, but I can't find one, and I don't know what is meant by something more nasty. Let me know and if I can't do it then I'll have a shop do. The only problem is that I have to have it towed 100 miles to the shop.
Thank you for your time.
