rear ATE calipers - stuck 200 1989

I replaced the rear pads on my 240 DL '89. They were worn, mostly due to one caliper piston stuck. I noticed that one other had the rubber torn around the piston, and actually 2 of 4 pistons were pretty hard to get back in...

Regardless, pads were cheap so I just replaced them. Braking is fine, no squeel, no noise, no pull, just a bit of shkaing I think due to the front rotors...

Is it common for these ATE rear calipers to jam like that? What should I expect when doing the front (likely soon)?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Greg
