Side trim removal on 240 wagon? 200 1986

Hey Andrew,

As far as I know the door and front fender mouldings are only held on with double-sided adhesive tape. The means may not justify the ends considering all the residue you will have to remove along with the mouldings, and also that the paint underneath has spent 17 years under cover. Big difference in shades. Unless they are falling off, I would try a trim restoration product, either spray-on trim paint or I think IPD sells this "Black Again" stuff that's like instant shoe polish. You may be able to find a similar product at a local auto supply store.

Happy Bricking!!!
