PLEASE HELP IN A HURRY - possible 740 T wagon purchase 700 1992

Sorry for the urgency. My wife wants to get something done this weekend.

I am looking to buy a 92 740T wagon . It has 126K, and was a trade in for a new Volvo. It is almost perfect throughout - with a couple problems to correct.
1. It dies down when driving on the highway - not entirly shutting down. You fiddle with the gas pedal, and it will pick back up and go.
2. The SRS light is on. I have been told this can be really expensive, and want to get a second opinion.

They are asking 3795.00 - which under normal conditions would be a steal for this car.

Any help appreciated.
