would you replace rear susp. bushings if you could? 700 1988

If your rear axle was out of the car (solid axle car), would you replace the rear suspension bushings? Do they make that much of a difference in performance? Do they wear out quickly?

Any ideas on this would be great... but I'm specifically looking to see if they need to be replaced... hell if I had all the $$ in the world, I'd replace everything... but I don't.
