AMM Problems ? Stalling & Will not stay running 200

Hi
My 85 245 non turbo (181,000 miles) would not stay running today. It would start and immediately stop.

I got it to idle fine by removing the hose from the CIS pump to the air intake but it would not take any throttle without stalling.

I disconnected the electrical connection to the Air Mass sensor and it ran well enough to get me home. Stalls all the time and cuts out if you are no very easy on the throttle.

Any ideas? Air Mass Sensor? Or something else a little cheaper?

The car has been recently stalling on a regular basis while slowing down at lights or at Stop signs.

Thanks Dan
