Warning lights all flashing? Dragracing also! 200 1990

Hi all, in the past couple of days, the instrument panel warning lights have been all flashing intermittantly. They flash on very quickly, and not all that often, with no change in behavior of the car.

I searched for this and Rob Bareiss described that he had this condition and it was because of the "hot" wire coming off the alternator, it was beginning to make poor contact. I looked over my alternator quickly, and I didn't see any connections that looked bad.

The alternator is new, so I don't think it's an internal problem, I'm suspecting a loose ground or something?

Where should I start looking?

Thanks for any help!

Greg

PS - Anyone in the New England area want to go to the drag races and join about a dozen other Volvos there? :) May 21. Email me!
