700 no start?

The wife reported that the beast(87-740)had a no start condition yesterday. SHe turned the key and nothing. I mean nothing at all. But then a few minutes later she turned the key and the car started normally. Hmm.

So I checked and everything seemed ok, execept I found corrosion at the positive battery terminal. The corrosion was where the two wires go off from the battery to the ignition etc, and are held to the battery post via a small bolt.

I want to think that Ive solved the problem, but have nagging doubts. ANy opinions?

Lawrence
