How are the fuel injector's controlled?

I have a 1989 760 GLE with a B280F 6 cyl engine. The injectors each have a pronged elctrical plug going to them. What powers these plugs and how can I test the plugs to ensure they are getting power? Right now I have fuel to the injector manifold, but I do not want to take my injectors out, I just want to make sure I have power to them when I crank the engine. The car cranks but does not start. I have Spark and Fuel. If I do not have power to the injectors when I crank the engine, then what do I check? I just replaced the ECU.

Thanks
