How are the fuel injector's controlled?

Hello:

Try taking a long handled screwdriver and placing the blade against the injector body and put your ear against the screwdriver handle while an assistant cranks the engine over. You should hear a clack-clack noise from each injector if they are working.

One thing worth trying is swapping the relays on the coolant recovery tank-- one is the radio suppression (fuel injection) and the other is for the electrical fan in front of the condenser. They are identical. If the car starts, you have found your problem. I would suggest resoldering the fuel injection, radio suppression and electrical fan relays just to be able to rule them out. Also worth checking-- does the tach blip when you crank the car? If not, consider the RPM sensor on the bellhousing.

Good luck and let us know what works!
