Thank you all so much for your advice and clearly stated instructions on how to diagnose my problem with no start after running car out of gas. I was going nuts!! Had gas all over the place, cleaned w/carb cleaner for possible valve stickage, etc. My %&$#@* boyfriend said that there was spark, so I was stumped. Thank God a friend and fellow Volvo owner finally made it over and said that there was "NO SPARK". He must have had his eyes OPEN when looing. Anyway, it turned out that I needed a new rotor inside the distributor. Put it in, fired right up!! Now I have another problem!!!!!!!!!!! (no not the boyfriend), a new problem. heh, heh. I am going to post it in a few minutes. Thanks again for all the quick responses for help, I'm gonna need you guys again!!
