AC would not work so i start checking for ac short. Ran power from battery to ac connector in eng bay after checking and getting a reading of .03volts and volia work ac. So I know the problem was someware in the switch{i think}.
checked for voltage on white/red wires on the left of switch got .03 volts and same on green wires. Then i ran a line from 12v power to the white/red wire on the first terminal on switch and i have AC again and the switch works when to turn to on. and turns off @ off.
1]Is this a good salution or will this screw up some thing
2]if this is good will the ac cycle the temp or will it run all the time the dial is in the on postion reguardless of temp setting
3]is is the a better way to make the repair so AC will cycle with the dial setting if the above 1] salution
car 245 100k ac has been converted to r134 with autozone kit {yes i know this is a cheap way out but ac comp still working. When it dies i will do it the right way. But it blows real cold if fix
thankx
