Whats the third hose on the fuel accumulator ?(kjet) 200

I just redid the fuel line/fuel pump/fuel accumulator on m 84 turbo. I had my accumulator explode about a year ago on the road and I was caught without tools, so I let a junk yard mechanic (big mistake) put another one on to get me back on the road. Since then the car has been blowing fuel lines and fuel pump fuses. He spliced in regular fuel hose, and butchered the wires leaving bare wire to occasionally short to the frame. So I am trying to fix the mess he made. I have a box of assorted kjet pumps and accumulators, but most of the accumulators have a third hose on them. The original one on the turbo only has an inlet and an outlet. What is this third hose for?
