740 seat heater 700

Hey guys,

it's almost winter in Australia and I'm considering adding heated seats to my 740, as it didn't come with this feature.

Now I know there's 2 types of heated seats - Single output (with thermostat)and Dual Output (with relay). Single output's seat bottom and seat back elements are connected in series, while Dual output's in parallel. What other differences are they? Does the Dual output one generate more heat? Most importantly, which is the more reliable one? I've often heard of seat heaters not working, or worse, unable to shut off and start burning through the seat material!

Oh and if anyone has seat heating components for sale (elements, switches, wiring etc) please let me know.
