All the warning lights came on! And they're still on... 700

I was driving along in my 88 760t, on a smooth road, uphill around a corner when all of my warning lights suddenly came on. I turned the car off, waited a few seconds, then back on. Still all the warning lights after starting. Any ideas why this would happen? Please, tell me I don't have to buy a new ECU! Could unhooking the battery for a couple hours solve this problem?
