Fellas:
I've just replaced the whole exhaust system (yes! from headpipe to tailpipe). Got rid of that Midas/Meineke whatever job that the PO had done. My question is: Was I suppose to use some kind of compound on all the joints held by the supplied clamps? All seem to be leaking a little bit and I'm afraid that if I put a few more lbs. of torque on the clamps, I'll end up with broken fasteners. Thanks in advance Volvo Gurus and Fanatics.
