I wanted to reply but Badge said it all. I have a TDI that has done 200k miles and is still going strong. I do a great deal of highway miles at steady pace and again, I change oil regularily but I do use synthetic oil. So far, my engine has not failed me. Good luck. By the way, Badge, did you get the stuff I sent you?
