7:30 AM : Wake up, grab diet coke, tools and thermostat. Head to car.
7:35 AM : Realize I don't have the right tools, back to apartment.
7:45 AM : Drain radiator the old fashioned way: unclamped upper hose and dumped fluid all over belts and apartment parking lot. Head back to apartment.
7:55 AM : Move car to corner of lot, clean up Anti-freeze. Apologize to apartment manager.
8:10 AM : Go to store, buy cigarettes, start smoking again.
8:20 AM : Get socket set out, spent 20 minutes figuring out which socket I need.
8:45 AM : First nut comes right off no problem.
8:50 AM - 11:45 AM : Fight with second nut. No matter which socket I try, no matter what I do, it won't come off. Put anti-freeze back into car. Go to parts store buy more anti-freeze and a can of S'OK.
12:00 PM - 1:20 PM : Curl up in fetal position on floor of apartment crying.
1:25 PM: Go back to car, spray S'OK on offending nut. Find Religion: "Dear God, I know there's a lot of stuff going on in the world right now, but PLEASE cut the dumb girl some slack?"
1:30 PM : Try all of the sockets, comptemplate going to a bar, and it's good that I live across the street from one, because it's not like I could DRIVE anywhere.
2:30 PM : Go in, wait for husband and post to Brickboard, hoping that everyone does get a laugh and in about 6 months I will to.......
