sorry Alex; I have to agree with Evan. I bought a 940 a few months ago and while the seats (same as 700 aren't they?) are OK, and don't seem worn out, they are not as comfortable/supportive as either 240 - the 83 or the newly rebuilt seat in the 81. Before rebuild the 81 was very uncomfortable, foam was collapsed through the wires. After fixup, could drive all day.

Of course after 20 yrs of 240 ownership my butt has probably molded itself to the 240 style seats.
