The O2 sensor wire (black) does connect to a single green wire with a molded plug that the boot slips over. That green wire should then go through the firewall and winds up as part of a multi wire connector at the Lambda system control unit. The '80 and the '79 Lambda systems in the 240 are identical. Use the 245 as a guide.
