Euro license plate bracket? 700 1990

I snagged a brand new Swedish license plate set at the Carlisle Import show last weekend (even had the guys name on the back and the original mailer!) I want to mount it on my daughter's 740 GL which has the euro plate cut out on the bumper. There are two plugs in the bumper for screws but I will have to drill the plate to use there plugs. That seems to be what the Swedish DMV recommends (yes there were instructions and it came with caps for the screws!) but it seems to me that there is a more civilized way of mounting it. The Volvo dealer cannot get anything apparantly that is not produced for the US market so I am unable to get an OEM bracket from them. Does anyone know where I can get such an animal? I have been looking online but nothing yet. Surely there is a mounting bracket somewhere?
